This inner-city youth sports, fitness and entertainment outlet is simply called, “The Urban Games.”

Our locals heroes, the coaches, instructors, mentors, and parents who volunteer time and other resources to teach young people discipline, responsibility, tolerance, communication skills, and self-confidence these characteristics needed by so many children for continuous growth and development in our communities.

Our program the Urban Games is a new inner city fitness revolution organized as a competitive team and individual sport known for combining fun with a fresh, new, raw blend of music, dance, and talent.

The object of the sport is to score points by performing on a square or rectangular floor using music, dance, the performing arts, martial arts and African traditions and customs. Urban Games artists perform a routine from one of six competition events they believe can appeal to any audience, especially a panel of judges.
